Update on My Kids

E ate her favorite cartoon character - Corduroy - for her birthday last weekend. Her Mom enjoyed making the cake over several hours Friday. The party was a lot of fun and the cake and vanilla ice cream were both great.

I have a couple of kids. The blog seems like a good way to mention what they are doing these days.

“E” had her second birthday party last week. It was fun and her Mom spent all kinds of time in the kitchen making a cake with E’s favorite cartoon character – Corduroy – on it. E is changing so fast. She’s starting to put words together. The other day she was at the table and said “Cookies please.”

“C” – ten months – is also growing up. She is bursting out of all of her clothes, so we’re getting ready to donate some of the smaller stuff. She’s a Daddy’s girl and crawls over to me when I come in the room. Of course, that’s so exciting for me. She will be walking before long; we think that she can walk now, but every time she realizes that she’s standing on her own she freaks out and falls down.

More later…

About mobilemojoman

I have been a Mobile resident for about a decade. Working as a college professor keeps me off the streets and pays the bills. I am married to a woman (the MojoWoman) who is a much better person than I am and we have two beautiful girls who keep us both jumping. My interests are varied - food & drink, sports, politics, exercise, books, travel, Mardi Gras, and all of life's rich pageant. In the future, I'd like to learn more about sailing, photography, Cajun/Creole cooking, making beer and wine, and writing.
