Update on the Girls – #4

Today I’m in the office, so I haven’t seen much cuteness firsthand. But the girls did some cute stuff when I was home yesterday.

C – has become a wiggle worm. Every time you try to give her a bottle she twists & tries to get out of your grasps. Often she does a “log roll” and ends up with belly against mine, while she is taking her bottle. She has yet to realize that a) she gets no bottle when she does this & b) she runs a great risk of crashing to the floor if she “succeeds.”

E – is obsessed with the word “coocoo” since we had couscous for dinner the other night. Also, she likes to say “backyard” because she wants to run out and play.

She likes to “help” around the house. She tried to take a laundry basket over to the washer and dryer yesterday as we were doing laundry. Also, she runs around with cloths trying to clean our house.

E’s a very “girly” girl, who loves having her hair combed and posing in front of the mirror. Also, she is obsessed with shoes.

Yesterday we went for a walk and saw a frog. E studied it and C gave me a huge smile when I leaned down to look at it.

About mobilemojoman

I have been a Mobile resident for about a decade. Working as a college professor keeps me off the streets and pays the bills. I am married to a woman (the MojoWoman) who is a much better person than I am and we have two beautiful girls who keep us both jumping. My interests are varied - food & drink, sports, politics, exercise, books, travel, Mardi Gras, and all of life's rich pageant. In the future, I'd like to learn more about sailing, photography, Cajun/Creole cooking, making beer and wine, and writing.
