Before I got home from work, the kids did a ton of fighting. C lost her stories for both Wednesday & Thursday, so that provides an idea. T informed me of the carnage.
For her bedtime story, E chose The Talking Turnip by Anne Rose. Of course, C didn’t get to listen. There was some debate about whether E had also lost her story. T couldn’t remember, but C insisted that E had lost her story. T read The Talking Turnip to E, but T was very quiet. So, I can’t really tell you what the book’s about.
For reading @ night, I managed to read from pages 44-78 in Grady Baby by Jerry Gentry. It was pretty good, but not great. I fear that the book is going off on an unproductive tangent; as I stopped, the story was following a Grady staff member’s “medical-missionary” trip to Mexico. It seems like an unpromising diversion to me.
